Fresh market produce

Farmers’ markets are big in our region and typically take place on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12.30pm.

Vendors sell everything from fresh, locally-grown vegetables and fruit, through to nitrate free bacon butties on organic sourdough bread.

You'll find seasonal produce and tasty treats at Timaru’s Farmers’ market and if you visit Geraldine Farmers' Market in summer, you can enjoy sprayfree Burbank.
