Alpine Energy 10-Hour Mountain Bike Race

Centennial Park, Timaru, South Canterbury
Ride hard out or ride for fun!

Experience the best 10 hour race this side of the black stump (and maybe the other side as well). One of the funnest multi-lap MTB endurance events around. A great course located in Centennial Park, right in the heart of Timaru. A crazy campsite transition area leading into a fantastic mountainbikers course.

It's no flat, it's not boring, undulating terrain, a few sharp but short climbs and nothing overly technical, perfect for 10 hours of non-stop racing and suitable for all levels of mountain bikers. Purpose-built walking tracks and some single tracks developed over the last few years. Warm, fine weather (pre-ordered).

Besides a fantastic track that is highly rated by riders, the Timaru 10 Hour is a very social event and festive occasion. A tent village is set up inside Centennial Park and the course winds its way through and past your allocated tent site. Lots of teams bring in those extra little things that help with their performance and make things a little more comfortable such as generators, lights, warm up bikes, BBQs, fridges and even couches and a spa pool!

Your mission - cover as many laps as possible during 10 hours of riding. Ride as a team or, for those wanting the ultimate challenge, as a solo rider.

Heaps of spot prizes, trophies and prizes to grade winners.
