You’ll find the centre on George Street in the historic Landing Services Building.
Timaru District Library
The Timaru District Library also offers free wifi through the Aotearoa People's Network. Go to 56 Sophia Street and log on. Alternatively, you can access the internet from one of the public computers located within the main Library. A guest pass from the front desk will give you a free half hour.
Spark phone boxes
Internet provider Spark have turned more than 1,000 of their public phone boxes into wifi zones, which means you can get a free 1GB of data every day.
There’s a week’s free trial available if you’re not Spark customer and it even works within 50 metres of a phonebox.
Keep an eye out for Spark phone boxes around town.
